I encountered Adam after having been referred to him by a physiotherapist I had seen for chronic lower back pain. I hadn't stepped foot in a gym for around 10 years and was still experiencing pain and discomfort of varying degrees with my back and was paranoid I would further injure myself. Adam provided me with various exercise programmes over a period of months, each becoming slightly more difficult than the last. I never felt that I was being asked to progress too quickly and this enabled me to become more confident in my capabilities. I am now pain free and a regular gym user.

I finally faced up to the truth that my size was negatively impacting on my life and decided that something had to change, I started a healthy eating plan and asked Adam if he could show me some things I could do at the gym. I was incredibly apprehensive and nervous the first time I went but Adam reassured me that there would be a wide range of people of all ages and abilities there and that they'd all be getting on with their own “thing” rather than judging others.
I wanted to prove to myself that I could do as much as I could on my own so rather than have Adam train me on a regular basis I decided to have an exercise program to follow and have it updated every 6-8 weeks.
I've now lost over eight and a half stone and continue to have Ad devise me exercise programs however I also have the confidence and physical ability to attend gym classes I wouldn't have dreamed of going to before my weight-loss journey began
